Tinubu Makes Fresh Appointments as He Affirms Gbajabiamila’s

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a former Benue State Governor, Senator George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), confirmed the appointment of Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff (CoS) and Senator Hassan Hadejia to deputize the CoS.
According to a statement by Mr Abiodun Oladunjoye, the President made the announcement at a meeting with the Progressives’ Governor’s Forum at the State House, Abuja.
Meanwhile, before the latest appointments, the President had since selected Ambassador Kunle Adeleke as the State Chief of Protocol (SCoP) and former Commissioner of Information, Lagos State, Dele Alake as Presidential Spokesman while Olusegun Dada will serve as Special Adviser, Digital Media.
It is expected that more appointments will be made as President Tinubu forms his government and settles in for a four-year term which he began on a challenging mode by making a pronouncement about fuel subsidy removal.
However, the full executive council involving ministers will be formed after the 10th National Assembly is inaugurated on 12th June, whose parliament will then screen nominees of the president to various ministerial positions.
